Well, maybe for most things, but not all. There's no accessible native filing system, and lack of flash support and a camera will continue to stymie it, but it's extremely good as an entertainment system and for use as an email, internet client, photo frame, ebook reader, rss feed reader, games console, word processor, research tool, note taker, radio and alarm clock. And any other use anybody dreams up and writes an app for.
