Dangerous email (not) from Microsoft
« on: May 10, 2004, 11:48 »
I have just received an email which looks to all intents & purposes to be from Microsoft, delivering the latest security fixes.

The email has Microsoft logos and links in it.

However, Microsoft DO NOT send emails containing any fixes and it is a very good copy, but worse still, the email attachment pack68.exe is infected with the Worm.Automat.AHB virus.

Again, PLEASE DO NOT OPEN ANY ATTACHMENTS IN EMAILS WHICH APPEAR TO HAVE COME FROM MICROSOFT.
