Hi  :D

New to the list so here is my first posting.

Is anyone researching THOMPSON of Birtley?  I have John Robert THOMPSON born 1894 Birtley and died in action in France July 11 1915 whilst serving with the 2nd Kings Own Light Infantry.  His parents were Margaret J and William J THOMPSON.  Unfortunately, I do not have any other information.
Would welcome contact from anyone who thinks they may connect.

:D Thanks Glynn

I also found that information but it is appreciated that you took time to respond.

Hoping, someone out there is researching this guy, as I do not think he connects to my tree.  However, I have a memoriam card pertaining to him, which was found with my late mother in law's belongings.

It would be great if this could find the right family.

Once again, many thanks.

Sue  :)
