If I'm in the area I usually get a bottle of water with my sarnie and pie from Gregg's.

I used to drink in Crook about 12 years ago.  It was awesome on Friday and Sunday nights, then Willington on a Saturday night.

Had some right laughs.

Also lots of trouble if you want it, we tried to walk away but sometimes it was impossible.

I've never had any bother in Gregg's or that smashin' butcher's that does the lovely pork dips.

I've had some nights out there - was fun, lot sof women too!!

but the strangest thing I saw was whilst waiting for a taxi - there was about 6 people waiting in the Q but no taxis and some people asked the local charvas / boy racers for lifts home (for which they'd pay) - but still, would you hop in a car with a bunch of boy racers that you don't know..?

Yeah that happens in Crook alot, sad thing is most the boy racers arent in much better state than the people who pay them to drive them home!

I've had some great nights out in Crook over the years, Fridays and Sundays used to be class, not quite the same now though - must be getting old!  Saturday nights seem quite busy at the moment though.

I am not too sure, the last year the Mill House has closed down and the Kings Head as reopened as the Kings, but rumour has it that the former Constitution club, which is under development is going to be a wine bar.

I think we must now hold the record for the most Hairdressers in a square mile, there seams so many, think I counted 13 shops last month.

I used to go to Crook sometimes on a weekend, do they still have a decent rock scene on Friday and Saturday nights?
