I used to go to Crook sometimes on a weekend, do they still have a decent rock scene on Friday and Saturday nights?

I used to underage drink in  a pub in the market place, i think it was called the 3 Horseshoes,

my, they were wild nights, with Shirley Bassey and Dickie Valentine on the wind up gramaphone,

and one and a half bottles of Broon, I never ever remembered the walk back to Willington.

Lol

It has been made into a house. The pub accross the road is still there, and doing good trade (the joiners) my local. and the pub at the bottom of the village has been completely refurbed and been done out very nice by the owners. Both do good food.

the Monkey is closed by the way.

Been to the Joiners Arms once, with a work mate of mine who incidentally lives nearly opposite to the pub, and by the way it is his local, reckon it was Jan 2006 Friday -was six of us in a round and i can tell you it was a realy good nite  good old fashion banter amongst us all, good Ale, and after meals had finished the chef came round with a plate of Pork buns -sellin for 50 pence, they were snapped up immediately -Been promising to go back but not got round to doin it
