Best and Worse Countries you've ever visited
« on: Aug 22, 2008, 15:05 »
What are your favourites..and which would you not want to go back to?

My Favourites (so far) were Canada and Gambia.

I loved the Laid back attitude of the Canadians, and it was similar and yet Vastly different to Home.  :D
Gambia, was my only ever visit to Africa so far, and I want to see more of the Continent.  :D

Worst place was without doubt Sweden.
Boring as hell, Cold, Wet and little wonder why it has the Highest Suicide rate in Europe!  :(

Yours?

Been in almost every country in Europe - no problems.  Malasia and Singapore not for me as I could not stand the humidity, although nothing wrong with the country.  Australia even at 42.5ºC was bearable because of the dry air. It is normally between 28ºC and 38ºC during Jan, Feb and March when we are there each year.  Enjoyed Dubai.

The nicest place I've visited was Canada - the Rockies were fanastic and Vancover Island I remember was so clean and yet still very British.

Worse place - Bulgaria - about 7 years we had the holiday form hell. My daughter was so poorly with food poisoning, that the doctor wasn't going to let her on the flight to come home! But we did finish up with a full refund plus compensation and spent it in Euro Disney later in the year. I'm sure that it was just a bad hotel but it's put me off the country too.
