Gay PM
« on: Aug 12, 2008, 14:00 »
A new survey from the EU was published yesterday on tolerance within the EU countries.

According to the new survey 93% of Danes say it would be no issue at all if the PM was gay. That figure is only topped by Sweden.

Politics aside would it be an issue in England if the PM was openly gay you reckon ? Or would it matter at all as long as the PM did his job well ? And would it have any effect on how other countries would see England, morally and trade wise ?

Yes it would undoubtedly be more of an issue here. I know you're not talking specifically about Gordon Brown, but the image of Gordon playing the pink oboe is not one I wish to keep in my brain for too long!

We have had  a Gay Party leader havnt we. I was thinking of John Jeremy Thorpe (born April 29, 1929) Leader of the Liberal Party from 1967 to 1976. Still being a liberal not much chance he would become PM
