The Dog - Heighington
« on: Mar 22, 2005, 22:27 »
Went there last week actually. It's a place I have only ever been to from work, so it was new for a night meal. The place was a bit dead when we first went in and there wasn't much atmosphere at all.

We passed on the starters after getting a couple of drinks from the bar. Trying to stay reasonably healthy, we ordered Mushroom Tagliatelli (me) and Salmon Steak (cruella). I realised after about three mouthfuls that this was possibly the most boring meal ever and the mushrooms were over cooked. I managed to eat about 30% of it before giving up. The salmon was small and a little tasteless according to Cruella.

Not a good choice then. Friendly enough service, but very average food, and that's being generous.
