Having recovered from a great weekend of Blues we now start looking forward to the next.  We have a great guitarist called Eric Steckel, despite having played all over the world he has never played the Uk before, until now. Flying in, just to play Sedgefield Blues Club! Please check him out, this is quite a coup for the North
East!

We've just been described by one of our (well travelled ) artists as the best little venue in the UK. Northern hospitality is the secret!
here's what the club looks like..

Our next band, Albany Down, who had a hit with this then (she actually co wrote it) OK the answers in the 'comments', but still worth a listen.

Some Sedgefield  people still dont know about our club yet! I have had people say that to me who work beside a poster every day! Hard work sometimes lol.

Wished we had more locals, our tickets sales are getting further afield as the reputation grows. Just sold a couple for the Oct gig in Oldham.
Think we only had ten people from Sedgefield at our last gig. !

Wanted, a couple of nice people to act as bar staff for our next gig. (Saturday May 4th) Experience not important, must be people friendly. This gig has sold out 2 months in advance and our regular 'girls', are away so a good chance for outsiders to come and enjoy the atmosphere. All staff are volunteers but free drinks (damned good real ale from The Surtees) ) No cash involved over the bar (token system) so no tills!
