Just seems like last year we where all raising our glasses to welcome in the millenuim 2000 !

Cannot believe ten years have passed so quickly

All the myths of technology crashing and global warming

How things progress and most easily forgotton

then I would have been writing this at a desk on a huge desktop PC on a bulky 17" CRT screen , connected to internet by a slow dial up connection,  as of now lying in bed on a 10" PC wireless  broadband

Nice to wake up this morning to another winter wonderland scene ...  seems this recent winter snow doesnt want to go in a hurry
Lets hope it brings a nice long hot summer too ?

I hope its a good year for everyone and hope you have made new years resolutions  :drinks:

Anyway

Going to start as I mean to go on , and finish this decorating

Promise I will try and contribute more often this year,   well I hope so

HAPPY NEW YEAR  :yahoo:

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL :yahoo:

This year is going to be a positive year for me.

I have started to take out the hundreds of nails in the hall and stairways that had all the Railway Items on them.
I also have a £10 win on the Lotto to collect.

Well 2010 is starting out a bit wobbily for me. The good news is that i got a Simpsons Mug and Left 4 Dead 2 plus some expensive Aftershave and a big tub of maltesers. I also got £50 cash which cheered me up and i used the disgaurded maltesers tub to collect the lose 1 2s and 10 pence pieces i leave lying around  for weeks which after collecting them left me with £4 in change

Im also going back to Next as i have yet another £15 gift card to use. New Shirt or New Trousers what shall i get lmfao.

You got me thinking there Gaz,

I got one of those millionare starter savings tins about three xmas's ago and its 3/4 full,  god knows how much is in it ?

its full of £1 and £2 coins only and the tin states it can hold up to £750 ??

I remember people going mad for them huge whiskey bottles to save penny's in ,  but if modern ways dictate recycling of maltesers tubes ....   all well and good

nice to see your still alive and kicking ....

dont spend it all in one go .....

Big difference in weather 10 years ago today. Remember walking along the beach at Tynemouth. Lovely mild day it was.

Saw on the news for the new year dip  at Whitley Bay   ...  SNOW on the beach    :cold:

Must be bad if there is snow at the coast

Max for January 1st 2000 was 8.3 degC in Ferryhill, so probs a couple of degrees higher at the coast.

Well i spent it wisely and have quite a stack load of points on the Coke zone site near 300 now. Bare in mind i got some new games with the £50 and bought some refreshing coke drinks once i hit 1000 points on that coke zone site its either a brand new laptop with a dongle or a full 1080P Hd Camcorder.

I might get the camcorder that way when i go down to London i can film my trip down there. Still New Years starting pretty good.  Im willing to bet the most historic events will occur this year.

Yes, it is hard to believe that 2000 was 10 years ago. Happy New Year everyone. Health, peace and happiness for 2010.
