Where's the option that says 'No, he's a BNP candidate and I wouldn't vote for them in a million years"?  I've edited the poll to contain a no option, as otherwise it wasn't a fair vote.

Incidentally, are you the same KarlC that stood as a BNP candidate in Botcherby, Carlisle at the Council Elections in May  :?:

I've just voted "no I'm not interested in politics",  had I have known and read the post beforehand to see that he was a BNP candidate I would even have bothered clicking an option at all, it would only have been a futile waste of my valuable clicking time. 8)

No thanks!

If he wants to run a constituancy...may I suggest it is one at the bottom of a pond!?

This doesnt mean that I like the Far Left any more than the Far Right!

Any 'extreme' should be frowned upon...whether Left or Right, Black or White or anything else (imho)

Seems they meet somewhere in the middle.... And have rather more in common than either care to admit!! :(

If the world was run by hippies we would all be better off, anyway.

But Alex.. If the world was run by Hippies...Nothing would ever get done!

Besides, a Hippy friend of mine lived in a kabutz (is that the correct name?) in Israel in the late 1960's...Full of dope smoking and Acid dropping hippies....it was all peace and Love for about 3 months.

Then, the stones started to appear, around peoples tents...borders were slowly established.... thefts started to occur, border disputes and arguing flared up...and all the hippies started to become average, selfish people!

It's a nice thought mate...but it will never happen.  :?

You cannot change millions of years of evolution with a bit of weed and a hug!

That sounds like a challenge

All I'm saying is if people just chilled out more then everything would be much nicer with or without the odd weed. But then again the hippies are sadly a dying breed these days. The feminist groups killed off the port trade when they put a stop to men's clubs where good people could light up a luvly cigar in the company of fellow gentlemen without the constant nagging from the opposite sex. Now the smoking ban will put the final nail into that as well as being the close end for the few remaining hippies out there, too.

I don't care who runs for office as long as they are decent people and have lived a little, thinking open-minded thoughts instead of working on single-minded results benefitting the few. In my eyes politics should be less about politics and more about people and what we can do to make things better for all. If the odd weed and feet-lifting bear hugs can kick-off open-minded thoughts creating new and more positive results then I'm all for giving the alternative ways a go.

Got light ? 8)
