Do P.Ms Lie?
« on: Jan 09, 2008, 14:42 »
Today in Parliament David Cameron said the Prime Minister had promised an "honest Government" and asked after the events of the last few days if he was keeping that promise.

The PM said this was the reason why he had immediately set up an inquiry into Labour's donations.

Cameron - Does the Prime Minister believe in compulsory ID cards for UK nationals?

Brown - We stick to the stated policy, said Mr Brown, with a look that suggested he wondered what on earth Mr
Cameron was up to.

Cameron - Why can't the PM give a straight answer? What is his personal view?
Brown - The scheme will be voluntary,  and then there will be a vote in Parliament.

Watch this space!  What do you think will happen?

Do politicians ever give straight answers. Question time is usually a farce.

A bit like the European Refurendum then? That was going to happen too wasn't it? All they'll do is say that the ID card bill has been substantially changed (when it hasn't really) and then say that a Parliamentary vote isn't needed. They are all a bunch of bastards!

What about the vote for the unitary council ? Majority voted against a county wide council, result, we are getting one anyway ? why waste peoples time and money if the decision was already made ?

We should have a vote on which prime minister you prefer (regardless of party affiliation)

Gordon Brown
David Cameron or
Nick Clegg

Then the Lemmings will vote them in again.  We've heard it before.  "I'm a working man, so I vote Labour."  "My parents were Labour, so I vote Labour"   "The Tories are only for business" "Look what the Tories did to the miners"

How about "L:ook what Scargill did to the miners"

Ah, but the penny might be dropping that Labour no longer represent the working man.

Have they ever in the last 10 years?  The poor are poorer and the rich are richer. FACT.

You can fool all of the people some of the time.
You can fool some of the people all of the time
But you can't fool all of the people all of the time.

Maybe...but people have short memories!...I reckon Labour have done enough to procure an exit in 2009! (well, lets hope common sense prevails)
