Gordon and Maggie
« on: Sep 18, 2007, 17:14 »
After all the damage that woman did to the North East, Gordon invites her round for tea and a chat.

Proof if ever it was needed that NuLabour are really NuTories.

So come on all you Labour supporters / voters, justify yourselves. How does it feel to be propping up a Tory regime?

I feel that it matters not who you vote for, the government will always win.

I will always stick by that statement.  Whoever has been in power, and I have experienced bother labour and conservative in my adult and voting life, there is one thing that is guaranteed.  They will f**k it up for someone.  There will always be moaners and whingers that are not happy with "this and that".  My only input into political discussions is pretty much just that.

When I cast a vote I vote for the candidate that has most impressed me.  I don't stick to one party loyally.  Why should I?  I vote for who I think would be best suited to represent me and my family as an MP/Councillor.  Sadly I have yet to feel suitably impressed by any one person that I have assisted in voting into power.  Hence my opening statement.

Personally I care not who fraternises with who, infact I could not care less, as long as they do their best for their country/ward/voters.  However, as I said, I am not holding my breath on this one.

But didn't Gordon Brown invite Margaret Thatcher for tea in number 10 just so he could p*ss off the Conservatives?

In my opinion the best thing to do is..Never let ANY government run for more than one term!
Let 'em have 4 yrs...then kick em out!!

Not to my knowledge.

As for propping up a Tory regime, compare the Blair / Brown policies with the 80/90's Tories.

The damage 'that woman' did to the Northeast, it is an insult she was allowed past the security gates on Downing Street.
