Bistro Italiano - Durham
« on: Apr 05, 2012, 11:36 »
Visited for the first time last night. This Italian is up Claypath, next to the Capital Indian Restaurant. It's very strange when you go in, with access by a sliding door on the left. We were quickly seated even though we didn't book, and were swiftly attended to and served. The menu is very extensive, with a good selection of traditional Italian dishes as well as steaks and uk cuisine. We started with bread and olive oil, then Bruschetta followed by chicken in peppercorn sauce and chicken in a creme sauce. This was all washed down with a sparkling white wine and followed by Lemon sorbet. Lovely stuff!
