Cinnamon Room, Eaglescliffe
« on: Sep 05, 2012, 09:47 »
4 of us ate at the Cinnamon Room in Sunningdale Crescent last night - and very good it was too.  But we were the only people in.  I spoke to the man behind the bar and he said they were busy last week - but went on to say that there is a big difference betwen this year and last year.  Last year there were plenty who came to eat in, this year the trade has shifted to takeaways and deliveries.  "I think people are spending their money more wisely", he said.

To be honest, this was quite expensive - but it was with family that we don't see very often, so . . .
