George and Dragon, Boldron
« on: Apr 02, 2011, 22:42 »
Following the advice of M Amos Esq - him of the "Northern Echo" - we went to the "George and Dragon" at Boldron for our lunch time outing this week, yesterday to be precise.

Excellent.

Health Warning - do not go until you have had a larger stomach fitted.

Several beers from the Allendale Brewery - I bought a bottle of Tar Barr'l and tried it out for scientific purposes today - now I need to go back to buy another to check if I was right first time.

Mike Amos has written a bit about the "George and Dragon" here : http://tinyurl.com/6j4y2zv

It starts with a write up of breakfast at the Burgoyne Hotel in Reeth, but scroll down and you will find the G&D.
