Leonards in Ferryhill

For as long as I can remember, Leonards has been on Parker Terrace selling electricals as well as all sorts of other stuff.

Now it seems the shop is going to be a Pound World, or something like that and Leonards are moving into the premises they have over the road on Darlington Road where they had the beds.

Not sure how much of the stuff they wil be able to sell from there, a sign of the times eh!

At least it is a few jobs coming to Ferryhill.

When Wilkinson's started recruiting for their Durham store, due to open, they had over 1,000 people queing up for 50 jobs.

My wife has been applying for anything for the last 2 years and in all that time has received only 2 replies.

Not sure mate. The Spendwise people are fearful about their business if another basement bargain type shop opens. B&M aren't exactly doing a roaring trade.
