I hope that the artist(s) responsible for the painting in MrKD's last message had the proper permission from the council because they would surely feel terrible if they had put so much work and effort into it and then the council came and cleaned it off wthout even batting an eyelid.

Obviously it is art and it is very good but I can't understand these street artists "who build mansions on sand". :?
