Yes, ads are performing ok (shown to guests only), but just thought i'd ask the opinion of the regular posters after Credo mentioned ads on the Wonga thread yesterday.

I have several other websites, and the Google Adsense revenue is pooled. The forum as an individual site doesn't pay for itself, but fortunately the costs are subsidised by what comes in from elsewhere. I'd like it to be self-supporting though.

I've added a 'Donate' button for members, after the first post in every thread, if anyone is feeling benevolent.  :wink:

following on from the ads question, I use the DNT + feature in firefox and I find that there are 4 sites trying to track my usage on the forum. Is admin aware of who or what is following us on here  http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c177/harmonrabbjnr/dnt_zps56b96d57.png

Nothing at all. You have complete control through your own browser. I'd appreciate it if you didn't screen out Sitemeter though.
