Tickets for the Stadium of Light  go on sale on nov 2nd, starting at £12.50! Taking a stand against pricing people out of gigs like this.

I'll be buying a couple on Friday morning. Haven't seen them live since they played Gateshead 12 years ago. First time was at Newcastle Mayfair in 1985. Was a huge fan in the early days, collecting all sorts of stuff like pic discs, acetates, promos etc. Still have them in my 'vinyl collection'.  8)

My mate went to see them last year at Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Manchester. He won a couple of tickets on the radio. It hoyed down all the way through, but he said it was a brilliant show.

They play only 5 uk stadium shows on the tour. Other dates are in Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff and Glasgow. The Sunderland date is Thu 13th June 2013. Significantly, there's space in their tour schedule to add an extra date in Sunderland if needs be.

Well that was a complete wast of time this morning.

The AEG Website said tickets on sale from 9:00am BUT did not change the link to buy them until 9:30am.

Clicked on the link as soon as it appeared and ALL the £12.50 ones are already sold out (wonder how many thay actually had), the £25 ones are NOT AVAILABLE so the cheapest ones you can get are £50 each once you pay booking fee, etc.

Well, that is another one we are NOT going to.

I used this link yesterday, but I can see this morning it's suffering from overload. The £12.50 tickets were sold out yesterday (Sunderland Season Ticket holders got pre-sale priority). You wouldn't want to be sitting up there, you might as well watch a DVD.  The £50 tickets are in the far corners away from the stage. The pitch standing is the best view by far, but £73 a ticket.

The £50 seat tickets are now only available as singles, so selling out fast.
