I've heard that tenants have voted against the stock transfer option recommended by Sedgefield council. This will give the council a major problem as I understand their future plans were dependant on a yes vote.

What's that phrase about chickens being counted before they have hatched?

I wonder if their plans had included a massive reduction in our council tax bills.  I suspect not.

As I understand things the stock transfer would have released a large sum of govt money that would have been used for a major redevelopment programme in Dean Bank and the Station. That option may not now be available to the council.
