You mean he doesn't live in that cottage on the way to Sedgefield anymore?

Nope - he went back to Ireland.

Returned to The Hare and Hounds after an absence of 7 months. It was a wild, windy wet night so it was nice to get inside. The pub wasn't at all busy, there were 4 or 5 tables occupied and more arrived later.

We were attended to straight away and the waitress got us our drinks before taking the food order. Food came quicker this time than last, with maybe a little more choice too, with a small blackboard of specials available. We shared a garlic ciabbata to start, with a little side salad, then I ordered Beef Lasagne and Cruella had Steak Pie. Both were extremely well presented, with salad and home made chips and were very tasty. Not too much to eat, just about right. The chips were filling so I only had about 4!

We washed it down with coffee and returned home contented.

A very nice barmeal.
