Another Terrorist outrage in London
« on: Mar 23, 2017, 15:04 »
Sadly, another atrocity has been committed on the streets of London. A car driven into members of the public on Westminster Bridge, then a policeman stabbed as the attacker tried to gain access to Parliament.

It seems to me that there can never be any ultimate protection against this kind of thing, as anyone has the capacity to do it. If you drive into a crowd, you can kill a lot of people, although a knife has limited range. Even border checks don't protect, as this man seems to have come from within British society.

How, and can, we ever stop this kind of thing happening?

We can never prevent this happening, unfortunately, but we must be vigilant, but beyond that what is the answer?  We should have listened to Enoch Powell instead of dismissing what he said as "Not likely".  Will we ever learn?  Or is it too late?  We are greater than "them" and such deaths, as sad as they are, will NEVER take us down.

And again in Manchester. There are said to be 3,500 jihadis at large in the U.K., all a threat to this country. Can we not just make them disappear like they do with undesirables in other countries?
