Sunderland v Everton : Bradley Lowery's Game
« on: Sep 13, 2016, 08:23 »
Was fortunate (?) enough to be given a ticket for last night's game. A sticky night both weather wise and football wise. Sunderland matched the Toffees in the first half, but fell apart after the break, with Lukaku bagging an 11 minute hat trick. Another long season beckons.

Little Bradley Lowery was mascot for the game and he received thunderous applause after 5 minutes from both sets of fans which will hopefully encourage him in his fight with Neuroblastoma. After the game it was revealed that Everton had donated £200k to his fund for treatment in the USA. Fantastic gesture!

Best of luck to him, he's a courageous little lad. Great gesture from Everton and Sunderland have given money too. I think he needs £700k for his treatment, so is well on the way to that.
