Because the Ferryhill Weather Station has only been running since 1999, I include the extremes of temperature from 1850, rainfall from 1852 and sunshine from 1886 recorded at Durham for January. These are representative for Ferryhill.

Mean Rainfall : 48 mm.
Wettest : 188 mm in 1948.
