   What Duggie hasn't realised yet is that the weather isn't simply a topic for idle conversation for you LK- but something of a passion!

We've had light rain in Rothbury this afternoon, which has melted the snow that was still lingering in the shade. :)

True, but if he wants to play 'guess where I am?' then he might as well be on the Moon. What is so secret about location anyway?  :?

ok so is that it ?
The snow has gone. Well by yesterday afternoon it had gone . And today we have rain showers, heavy at times, like when I was walking the dogs this morning, all very pleasant sniffing every blade of grass( the dogs, not me ) and then it rained and three greyhounds headed for home at their pace with me hanging onto the leads. Great fun, especially the drying off bit with towels and dogs everywhere in the utility.

Yep, that's it for now. Still far too early really for any snow to fall and last yet. Also too early to speculate on the likelyhood of a White Christmas.

The Severe weather warnings we got for last weekend were a storm in a teacup.

I remember the Hurricane we had...have never been able to trust the weather reports since.

In fact, my only reason for ever watching the weather reports is this lovely lady
ooo...what I would'nt give to be tucked up on a cold winters nite with her, a good bottle of Claret, and then making lurve!! :P

Would be the BEST 3 minutes of my life!!

Becky Mantin...yummie!

becky...yummm...!

anyway... :)

was driving to work today - a bit of snow but no more, maybe an inch tops?

along the a690 the traffic was going real slow from the brancepeth area due to a coach crashing in durham...then when I was going through shincliffe the roads were really bad - even saw a taxi shunt into the back of a 4x4...

and when I drove back tonight the roads were still bad despite no more snow falling - where exactly were the gritters..?? really, really poor....gawd help us tomorrow if we get the expected 6 inches tonight...

durham city council are a poor joke :(
